Author Biography
María José Ferrada. She lives in an apartment in Santiago de Chile. When she heard about the story of Pep Carri ‘s calendars, she bought one and said: I will make a story, every day. But the following week she lost her calendar. She continued to write on napkins, which she also forgets in the cafe in the corner of her house. The good thing is that every December, Hugo, the waiter, gives her an envelope with everything she wrote during the year. The system is somewhat elaborate but, according to her, it works.
Pep Carrió. He lives in an apartment in Madrid, where he studies the passing of time. He is especially interested in calendars (time measured on sheets of paper) and believes that, especially if they have black covers, they are too wonderful inventions to fill with
meetings and phone numbers. So he fills them with drawings. Drawings of trees that grow under the ground. Drawings of islands that come off the sea. Drawings of houses inhabited by birds. Every day.
