Author Biography
Khrystia Venhryniuk is a Ukrainian writer (novelist, poet, playwright), literary critic, and artist. She defended her PhD thesis on the life and work of the Ukrainian writer Natalena Koroleva. Khrystia is one of the co-founders of The Black Sheep Publishing House for Children's Literature and Art Books, where she also holds the position of editor-in-chief. Venhryniuk is the founder and teacher of painting in the MonmARTr studio. She authored 9 books. Khrystia's works have been translated into Russian, Polish, German, English, and Croatian.
Nadiia Kushnir, also known as Nadjozna, is an illustrator, author, and designer. She was born in 1993 in Lviv studied at the Ukrainian Academy of Printing and the Ukrainian Academy of Design. She is the author behind the popular Internet comic Goose. She illustrated many children, teenage and adult books. Her illustrations are gentle, funny, often ironic and never fail to pick the readers' interest. She designed more than a hundred children's, teenage and adult books for the Ukrainian and foreign publishing houses, such as Veselka, Urbino, Vivat, Kalvariya, Ranok, Teza, and the foundation Fundacja Centrum Badan Polska-Ukraina.
