The picture book tells the story of Black and White met through the Internet, from virtual communication to social reality, from home to outside, they experienced complicated and tortuous mind course. Out of the narrow comfort zone, to break the estrangement and alienation, Black and White saw each other and at the same time gained self-awareness and spiritual growth.
Zhang Zhilu, noted author of children’s literature in China, has published more than thirty books and was awarded many prizes either in China or abroad, including the Nomination Award of International Hans Christian Anderson Award. Antelope Wood Sculpture, one of his short stories, has been included in the national Chinese language textbook for middle schools in China.
