JD Barker just never disappoints - this book was a wild, thrilling ride from start to finish. If you’re looking for an intense read, with lots of unexpected detours, you’ve come to the right place! Definitely recommend!

JD Barker is definitely in my category of favorite authors. I am not a collaboration book fan so I can’t comment on those books from him. ‘Literary popcorn’ was the term mentioned after his last solo release, A Caller’s Game, and this book fills the reader’s bucket with even more hot, buttery, and salty thriller kernels in this intense page turner. 📘🍿📘

I read this book on Kindle with no progress indicator which was fun because of the unexpected twists and turns along the way. I appreciated the Author’s Note as well as the Bookclub info about the book’s title. I feel the cover is effective for a JD Barker book and getting reader attention.

This was a hard to put down intense thrill of a book.
When Abby and Brendan decide to see a therapist for marriage counseling little did they know what a sinister and dark road they were going down. It all starts with the downloading of an app called Sugar & Spice and things take a disturbing and dark turn after that.
I was all in reading this and couldn't finish fast enough. I loved every minute of it.

DOOR, releases May 13. He is currently collaborating with James Patterson. His books have been translated into two dozen languages, sold in more than 150 countries, and optioned for both film and television. Barker resides in coastal New Hampshire with his wife and daughter.
