Author Biography

Volodymyr Chernyshenko was born on March 31, 1986 in Kyiv region. He holds a PhD in biological sciences and works in the department of protein structure and function of the O. V. Palladin Institute of Biochemistry of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. He translated  prose and verse works. His translations incldude works from Rudyard Kipling, Jacqueline Wilson, Paul Gallico, and Shel Silverstein. For the Artbooks Publishing House, he translated a series of books by Sherri Duskey Rinker, comics such as Hilda, Bolivar and many other stories.

Tatiana Kopytova is a professional illustrator of children's books. She illustrated about 50 books, mainly for the USA, Canada, and European countries. Her paintings have been exhibited at many exhibitions, and most of her works are in private collections around the world. Her second passion is painting horses.
