Auswanderer/Schicksale in Amerika (1873–1912): Die in die Fremde zogen
by Larsen, Karl
Description
Early 20th century: A family, a married couple and a bachelor begin the biggest journey of their life. Their goal is the same: North America, the unknown and seemingly heavenly New World. They wrote down the reasons for this decision, as well as what they experienced during their journey and upon arrival, in letters and diary entries. Karl Larsen collected these accounts and sends the reader on an enticing journey to America and Canada, allowing him to accompany the emigrants on their exciting adventures and through their abundant hardships. The present edition is a reprint of the fractured original from 1913.
