Author Biography
Dr Imed Nsiri received three MA degrees and a double PhD in Arabic and Comparative Literature from Indiana University, USA. He has taught Arabic heritage courses at the American University of Sharjah, UAE. His research focuses on Arabic literature and music, as well as comparative literature. His publications include A Portrait of the Artist as a Bricoleur, and several articles, such as “Translation and the Quest for Meaning: Adūnīs and Yūsuf al-Khāl’s Translation of T. S. Eliot’s The Waste Land” and “Narrating the Self: The Amalgamation of the Personal and the Impersonal in Eliot’s and Adonis’ Poetry”.
