Author Biography
Liu Haiqi, long engaged in children’s book publication, is an editor and reviewer, a member of the Chinese Writers Association, a member of the Children’s Literature Committee of the Chinese Writers Association, and the vice president of the Shandong Writers Association. His major works include fairy tales such as The Adventures of the Acaudal Mouse, Father Tree, The Fairy Tales in the Bean Field, and novels like The Summer with Pigeons. His works have won the 9th National Outstanding Children's Literature Award and the China Excellent Publication Award, and have been selected for the lists of "50 kinds of books loved by the public" and “100 kinds of excellent books for teenagers across the country” recommended by the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film, and Television. Moreover, some of his works have been translated into Arabic for publication.
