ANTARCTIC ELVES—EXPEDITION NOTES BY SCIENTIST
by Wei Menghua
Description
With Professor Wei Menghua’s scientific expedition to the Antarctic as the thread, this book demonstrates interesting knowledge of creatures in the Antarctic—lichens, krill, Antarctic insects, seals, penguins, skuas, etc.—through his adventures
with them. The author takes a special perspective to share the interesting knowledge with readers, such as the kindergarten of baby penguins, living skills of Antarctic mosquitoes and the rejuvenation of krill. Logical and well-organised, this is one of the few non-fiction works in China focusing on Antarctic animals.
