Author Biography
Svitlana Volodymyrivna Taratorina (born September 25, 1985, Rozdolne, Crimea, Ukraine) is a Ukrainian writer, PR manager, and journalist. She graduated from the National Pedagogical Drahomanov University with a diploma of excellency (red diploma). She was a member of the small children's jury of the Artek International Children's Film Festival. In 2001, she received a study grant from the Fund for Intellectual Cooperation "Ukraine - XXI Century". Svitlana Taratorina's articles and reviews were published in ELLE magazine, Ukrainian Pravda, Glavred, DreamKyiv, Gazeta.ua, and others. Her short stories were included in several collections: Questions of Humanity from the literary association Zoryana Fortetsya, The best Ukrainian fiction, Brama, She did it too, Murder on the street..., Babai. The first nightmare.

Before the full scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, Natalia Levytska was an artist, ceramist, illustrator, and animator. She created illustrations for the web, for editorials, advertising, and publishing for clients all over the world, such as Beetroot, Vydavnytstvo, McDonald's, Shameless mag, The Culture Trip. She used to run a small workshop, where she would create fun ceramic heads and experiment with different drawing techniques. She was an active participant of workshop events, exhibitions, and auctions. She says that she doesn’t own her previous life anymore and that it’s really hard for her to define who she is now.
