In the second chapter the author elaborates on the advent of Islam, appointment of Prophet Mohammad (s) as the Divine Messenger of Allah, embracement of Islam by close associates of the Prophet, opposition faced from Quraysh, Prophet’s migration from Mecca to Median, the change of Qibla from Bait al-Moqaddas to Ka’ba, and Prophet’s struggles and wars against the infidels. The third chapter analyses the developments that took place in the world of Islam before Prophet’s sad demise. The fourth chapter analyses the issue of the successorship of the Prophet of God (s). A review of the conditions that prevailed in the world of Islam after the martyrdom of Imam Ali (a) is the main focus of the fifth chapter.
