Author Biography

Vasyl Karpiuk  is a Ukrainian writer, poet and publisher. He writes for children and adults, and is the author of a children books series about the Ukrainian hero Oleksa Dovbush. The first book of the series made it to the "Book of the Year" PEN Ukraine rating in 2020 and was recognized as one of the best of those selected. Vasyl's works focus on the culture and history of the Carpathian Mountains. Tale about the Carpathian Magician is another book by Vasyl available on our catalogue.
