Author Biography
Passionate about books and theatre, Timothée de Fombelle has been writing since he was young. The stage has been his testing ground but it is life, with its joys and trials, which inspires his work. A great traveller, Timothée recognizes that the writing of Toby Lolness (Toby Alone) has been his best journey so far. Published by Gallimard Jeunesse, the book won several awards and has been an international success, translated in 28 languages.
