A house in Vienna. Six livelihoods. Six fragile certainties. Each of the residents is walking on a tightrope. What happens when all the nets are torn? Where do they fall? Who catches them? And in how many different ways can they fall?
An eccentric dealer in antiquities wants to recover the love of his youth. A son tries to go his own way. A young woman discovers the secret of her life. And then there are also a moderately succesful lady author, an aging prima ballerina, and a failed bookseller: all bound by nothing more than the house in which they live – or is there something else?
