Author Biography
Daniele Zovi, aer working for 40 years in the State Forestry Corp, has written a book on the world of plants Alberi sapienti, antiche foreste (UTET 2018) and Italia selvatica (UTET 2019). He travels extensively in Italy to talk about these themes in bookshops, natural history museums, in schools, because he is convinced that a better knowledge of nature is the starting point for a new and true alliance between man and the other living creatures.Giulia Tomai is a freelance illustrator based in Rome, Italy, where she was born in 1990. She studied Illustration at the European Institute of Design (IED) and aer graduating, she founded a creative studio, with three of her illustration classmates. She works with all the main Italian publishers. Her portraits for “Goodnight Stories for Rebel Girls” (Timbuktu Labs) got selected for the Society of Illustrators 2018 exhibition and annual. Her illustrations for picture book “Anne Frank Diary” (Mondadori) got selected for Society of Illustrators 2019 exhibition and annual.
