Description
Lambana, the realm of the Diwata, has fallen, the Magic Prohibition Act has been signed into law, and there is something wrong with Conrad’s heart. Only magic can delay his inevitable death, and so he meets with Ignacio, a friend who promises to hook him up with Diwata and magic-derived treatments, illegal though this may be. But during the course of the night, Conrad may just discover Lambana’s secrets -- and a cure to save his life.

Author Biography
ELIZA VICTORIA is the author of several books including the Philippine National Book Award-winning Dwellers. Her fiction and poetry have appeared in several publications, most recently in LONTAR: The Journal of Southeast Asian Speculative Fiction, The Best Asian Speculative Fiction, The Dark Magazine, The Apex Book of World SF Volume 5, Fireside Fiction, and Future SF. She has won prizes in the Philippines’ top literary awards. MERVIN MALONZO created the comic Tabi Po where he reinvented and reconstructed the mythology of aswang. It received the Philippine National Book Award in 2014 and was adapted into a TV mini-series in 2017. He collaborated with several writers to produce comics and illustrated books. He now manages an independent small press effort called Haliya Publishing which publishes more of his comics and other titles from different authors.
