A Village Affair
by Julie Houston
Description
Cassie Beresford has recently landed her dream job as deputy head of the idyllic local village primary school but when she discovers that her husband of twenty years has been having an affair with one of her closest friends, her dreams are in tatters... Then on top of everything else she suddenly finds herself asked to step in as the head of the school! Instead of wallowing in self-pity, she finds that the irresistible joy of her pupils, the fight to save the school from developers who want to concrete over the beautiful landscape – and the strength of her friends and family who all rally round – give her a new found zest for life. And possibly even love…
