Author Biography

Raoul Follereau was a French writer and a humanitarian who toured the world over thirty times in his life, talking to audiences about his passion for the dignity of the suffering. Founder of World Leprosy Day, his famous yet simple poem 'Un Sourire' / 'A Smile' encourages us all to know the power of a smile to help others.


Hoda Hadadi is a celebrated award winning illustrator, whose previous books number of 60. She won the Moonbeam award in the USA for 'Drummer Girl', and is known for her intricate and unique collage illustration.
