A pack of jellybeans
by Tatyana Gishina
Description
Nicholas Sparks meets Chanel Cleeton in a breathtaking debut about one woman journey to love herself by facing the ghosts from the past.
Is it any consolation to know that somebody loves you when the only thing you can do with this love is to let it go?
Deya is a thirty-year-old woman who has everything: a successful career, a man who loves her, a life she has dreamed of. She is not tortured by unnecessary questions, by unwanted feelings or irrelevant memories. A phone call, however, changes everything. It takes her back to the past and digs up pain and secrets, buried in oblivion by the years and a hidden guilt.
Plamen meets Deya on a rainy autumn day. After so many years, he is the first to understand her and make her feel happy. It is a stroke of love. The one you have to experience at least once in your life. Love at first sight that gradually overwhelms you. Impossible love, requited though. A gift given by destiny, by the dead, by a rainy day. Do you believe in destiny? Do you believe that under the stars, there exists someone who is destined to be with you? Do you believe that despite the circumstances, this love and destiny cannot pass you by?
Two people overwhelmed by their guilt. A lost world of childhood, rediscovered by a late encounter. The path of forgiveness is not easy, but those who have had the chance to go along it to the end must be truly happy.
