The aim of this book is to provide non-jurists business operators with the guidelines and hints in order to solve the problems practical cases that may actually be faced.

After a brief regulatory excursus, this elaborate examines the product notification system, which is a prodromal phase to the placing of the products on the market, the information requirements of the cosmetics producer, the advertising, the liability that the cosmetics producer may incur and, finally, on the prohibition of testing on animals.
