السماء تمطر بالخارج، لكن لا مشكلة لأن مليكة تشعر بالدفء والراحة داخل البيت، وهي تقرأ كتابا. لكن كلبها الصغير موكا لا يقرأ. وهكذا، يشد موكا كم مليكة.
تسأله مليكة: "ربما تريد أن تقرأ أنت أيضا، لكنك تفضل كتابا مختلفا؟ لا مشكلة، هناك الكثير من الكتب الممتعة." تقول مليكة: "هيا يا موكا، سنذهب إلى المكتبة، وسننتقي كتابا لطيفا لك أنت!"
