Author Biography

Ryoko Sato (known in Japan as “Mama Sato”) is a housewife living in Nara prefecture.　Through her efforts, her three oldest children were accepted at Nada Junior and　Senior High School, one of the most exclusive private schools in Japan, and her　youngest advanced to the equally exclusive Rakunan Junior and Senior High　School. After graduating high school, all four were accepted at the notoriously difficult-　to-enter Medical School at the University of Tokyo. Since the spring of 2017,　she has been working as an advisor at Hamagakuen, the tutoring school that all four　of her children attended. She has made numerous television appearances, including　shows such as Fuji Television Network’s High Noon TV Viking! and Nippon TV’s　One-minute Stories that will Change Your Life.
