Overview

The Knabe Verlagsgruppe, founded in 1932 by Karl Friedrich Knabe, initially achieved fame thanks to its classic half-linen books for children. The publishing house gained a loyal readership due to their charming picture books, their inspiring biographies of famous thinkers and inventors as well as their popular fairytales.

Even today, the new publications manage to connect generations. In recent years, the Knabe Verlagsgruppe promoted many new writing talents with original ideas, rediscovered various children’s book classics and now offers a portfolio that unites both traditional and contemporary books.
