Calumet Editions acknowledges that book publishing is plagued with an antiquated business model biased in favor of the publisher. Calumet Editions‘ mission is to create and provide a new business model even if traditional rules of publishing must be broken—in which publisher and author operate as equal partners in risk and reward; in other words, they enter together into a joint venture.
