Joachim Bark (born 1941), after studying German, philosophy and theology, first assistant professor at Stanford University, then from 1974 professor for modern German literature at the University of Stuttgart.
Hans-Christoph Graf v. Nayhauss (born 1940), since 1976 professor for German literature and literary didactics at the PH Karlsruhe; Founder and head of the ›Research Center for the Reception and Didactics of German-Language Literature in Non-German-Speaking Countries‹.
